Program 2019

Below you can read the general outlines of the program 2019. Detailed information will be added to this page soon.

General program

All PhD students will have a chance to present their recent work by means of either an oral presentation or a poster presentation. This will be an excellent opportunity to prepare yourself for the upcoming NOG or ARVO conference. Similar to previous DOPS conferences, prizes will be available for the best presenter, presentation, and poster presentation. An advisory board with experienced researchers will also have a vote for the best presentation.

Friday 15th of March, 2019

The first day will start with a short introduction by the members of the DOPS-board. After this, the oral presentations by PhD students will take place. There will be an interesting and entertaining keynote lecture after lunch and we will finish with poster presentations. Just before dinner, a mysterious event will take place that is focused on the theme of this year’s conference: The blind spot. This will be your chance to get to know your strengths and pitfalls and to find out where your blind spot is! So be prepared…
After dinner, we will continue with the social and entertaining evening program, so please stay and join us!
